Contacts section
The Contacts section lists the contacts linked to the account, along with their portal access, notification, email sync, and signature settings.
Note
A client’s personal details—such as email address, phone number, and contact address—are stored within the contact profile, not the account. To change this information, click the contact’s name in the list to edit the contact .
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| a. Contact’s name | The names of all contacts are displayed in alphabetical order. You can Unlink the contact from the account by clicking the three-dots menu at the right of the contact name line. |
| b. Phone number | The contact’s phone number. |
| c. Email | A contact can have more than one linked email address; each is listed on its own line with its own settings row. The email marked Main contact is the primary one used during contact creation. |
| d. Contact settings | Contact settings manage the contact’s portal access, notifications, email sync and signatory settings, set individually for each email address:
|
| e. Description | The short info you want to add about the contact. You can Edit the description by clicking the three-dot menu at the right of the contact name line or just leave the description empty. It is valid for the current account only, so if a contact is linked to several accounts, the descriptions could be different for each account (e.g., primary contact for the family account and CEO for the business account). |
| f. Signer priority | Click Priority at the top of the Contacts section to see the signing order for this account’s contacts, then drag to reorder if needed. |
| g. Create contact | This option can be used to create a contact to the account. |
| h. Link | This option allows you to link existing contacts to the account. |
Unlinked emails
The Unlinked emails section lists email addresses associated with the account that aren’t yet tied to a named contact (for example, an address pending client activation). Each has the same Login, Notify, Email sync, and Signatory settings as a linked contact’s email—see Contact settings above for what each one controls.
Contact email actions
The following actions are available from the three-dots menu next to a contact’s main or additional email address:
| Action | Description |

| Reset password | Send the client a link to reset their password. |
| Send invitation | If the user has already been invited to use the client portal but hasn’t accepted the invitation, you can send it once again by clicking this link. |
